Seems some real cowboys rode into Sodom on the Hudson to instruct it's good citizens that brokeback mountan is indeed a pervert's fantasy and NOT real Alberta cowboy culture. Tratitional cowboy rodeo arts were demonstrated by the Albertans to the surprised crowds in New York's grand central station.
Seems that the gay cowboy image dies hard...when the CBS morning show did a segment on the Alberta cow hands, when host Harry Smith was told there were real cowboys in town he dropped to all fours and started mooing like a cow....need we say more about the effect of gay propaganda on urban masses.

Man alive. Someone puts together one movie about a romance between two specific cowboys who are gay, and everyone gets on their horses to decry "gay propaganda" about Alberta cowboys in general.
Look, there are gay Albertan cowboys. I'm sure of it. Why shouldn't we make love story movies about them? Sometimes movies are interesting because they highlight an exception to a rule. Like gay cowboys versus those who prefer to breed.
Have you seen the movie, by the way? It was incredible, and moving. You should see it.
P.M> no one is crying "gay propaganda" ....if there is anything in the Brokeback fantasy that Albertans decry it is "hollywoodism"...you know.. that cinematic licence that distorts realities out of focus....and no PM, no real life cowboys in Alberta are gay... or in professional NHL hockey...which is the next traditional hetro male dominated bastion which will have to be breeched by this silly obsession hollywood politics has with fantasizing gay culture and re engineering the gay stereotype.
Seeing how either of these professions are in the tentacles of government social engineering ( like the armed forces) the indistries are self regualting and I can tell you for a fact hockey and rodeo industires would crash and burn like a zepplin if ever there was any gay discovered in their competitive ranks.....and the indistries know it.
What IS this obsession north American liberaldom has with sodomy and self destructive sexual deviance? As a libertarian I feel it is really none of my business and there should be no laws punishing consentual sodomy but neither do I glorify self destructive behaviour.....we are all free to make choices...some people make bad choices...so be it.... it is an act of intellectual dishonesty to glorify self destructive choices. Practicing a gay lifestyle is a matter of personal choice. Just as my being repulsed by the low self respect of anyone who would openly celebrate quasi psychotic sexual deviency...whether that be the hetro perversions or flamboyant sodomy.
No I haven't seen the movie and I do not intend to...what manner of pretzel logic makes you conclude that watching a fantasy will alter the harsh medical/pschological realities facing practicing sodomites?
