Why I won't Hunt with Dick Cheney
In light of the recent developments it appears to me Cheney was either totally wasted, criminally negligent or attempted murder. The official story is totally concocted. As an upland hunter and 28 ga. scattergun user of many years, I can attest to the fact the damage done the shooting victim was definitely NOT from a 30 yard shot by "mistake"...at that range I have removed stray pellets that hit the dogs by pinching the skin to pop the 71/2 led pellet out.....for a 28ga. 3/4 oz load of 71/2 pellets propelled by a sub-2 dram powder charge to penetrate a mans tough canvas (blaze orange) hunting coat, ribs, gristle and muscle to lodge a pellet in the heart, and leave a shot pattern about a foot in diameter, the muzzle of that gun had to be closer than 20 feet from the victim.
The bottom line here is we are witness to yet another government cover up and we see that certain politicians are not accountable to the same laws you and I are. Cheney’s story is bogus…..and so obviously bogus anyone with a 20-28 gage shotgun and field loads can confirm it with a simple ballistic test.
As usual the Fed agencies create another magic bullet theory where the scientifically predictable characteristics of projectile ballistics documented in this realm of existence do not apply.
I owned 28s and when I was patterning the gun to see its effective range, when I took it out to 30 yards it made a pattern 45 inches in diameter and would barely penetrate a double cardboard backstop with # 71/2 bird shot.
Why lie this badly? Where is the NRA..surely they should be concerned with the republicans repealing the laws of ballistic physics?....of course if these laws pass as truth it means that if Cheney can damn near kill a man at 30 yards with a 28 ga, field load I can down a bear with a .22 rimfire. ;-)
Update: Some ballistic authorities confim my suspicions.
Latest update: From a site hosting the scientific ballistic demonstration that proves Cheney is lying... a video...which profesional hackers tried to wipe from the server 3 times. The Feds do not want you to see this simple proof which incriminates Cheney in a conspiricy to cover up a felony.

Sorry Onanite, as much as this may make for a great Hollywood plot, or give leftiods a wet dream, I don't think Cheney is a murderer.
He's a slob of a hunter and a disgrace to those of us who do hunt....and he's a elitist snot nosed politician who lies and gets Fed agencies to back the lie, when he gets his tail in a vice.
That's what pisses me....regardless of your partisanism you know damn right that skanks like Klintoon, Gore, Rummy or Toastmaster Ted Kennedy would do exactly the same thing.
At the end of the day what we have left is an "US" 'n "Them" scenario....those who are oppressed by the state's micro managing laws and those above it.
Aiz: I'm not saying Cheney intentionally shot the guy....I'm saying he was probably dangerously inept as a hunter...or boozed to the tits or both and he made a near fatal mistake...Then HE LIED ABOUT IT. I think he made the story up and waited all that time to get to the press because he was drunk and needed time to get the victim, the cops and whitehouse spinn team all on the same page...and to sober up.
Bottom line is if I did what he did I'd be charged....he wasn't.

You know, Wil, the Cheney incident really doesn't interest me that much. I guess it was just a bunch of old farts being old farts and getting themselves hurt.
What concerns me is that Libranoesque deal to sell some US ports to a UAE firm with ties to Al Qaeda. I'm like, WTF is going on there? That's like something the Cretch or Dithers would do; not a Republican president.
I cannot see any value in this deal. And as puzzling is the administration's so far not trying to sell the whole thing to Americans. Why are they doing it?
Granted, some recent appointments made by our Tories have puzzled me, but they now pale in comparison to this port-sale deal in the US.

Coincidentally enough he was in Wyoming urging his dad to pull his GOP party strings to get him off a second drunk driving charge...who sez Ted Kennedy and Cheney gon't have common ground. ;-)
