The Reformer's Firebrand

*-{The New Canadian Colonist's Advocate }-* A commentary of fiery reformist sentiment from the spirit of it's 210 year old Canadian ghost publisher patron. This will be a home to the new wave of anti-partisan advocacy for defeating Canada's second "family compact" and reinstallation of responsible governance in this 21st century new Canadian democratic dominion.

The Single party state is media supported.

Thank you Lorrie Goldstein for saying what all non statist Canadians have known for some time but are now afraid to enunciate for fear of stigmatization.

Hey Canada!...your media is promoting a single party corrupt you care???

Why wouldn't they support a one party state?

supporting the Bloc would bring down the ire of every Canadian in the country,

Supporting the NDP is pointless as the chance of them ever forming a government is still in the catagory of "Rare Event"

Supporting conservatives threatens their cushy subsidy and government funding of the arts that they depend on for thier salaries.

Canadian media knows very well where the food comes from and logically have no intention of biting the hand that feeds them.

Then given that they are a lap-dog voice of the powered elite employed to manipulate us into accepting policies that do not benefit us culturally, economically or constitutionally, why even give them a second glance?

I have long held that you can't believe anything you read in the easten based media relating to public affairs and seems to hold true.

I'll answer for the average Canadian:
"Yawn".... stretch
"Yawn... what... you talking to me Bill?"
"The media is what?... bias you say?"
"Well Billy-boy, I know for a fact that it's not, in fact the best darn media in the world is in Canada! We got that Jap guy who tells us all bout science'n things, and all those old guys that are old enough to know what they're talking bout in government because they're.. old enough."
"What's that you say... how do I know this?"
"Well Billy-boy I've got proof... proof positive..."
"I heard a guy... forget his name... on CBC... who talked about these things... and he said so!"
"Now shove off and let me go back to sleep!"

Sierra, the bureaucracy had every chance in the world to buy me off by granting me permanent employment amongst their ilk, and chose not to do so. They did so at their own peril. If one day I am a part of GOOD gov't in Canada, well, I'll get my satisfaction. There'll be changes for sure. What is needed to truly serve the people is to transform the civil service into a meritocracy. I love that word, MERITOCRACY. Perhaps that's the one we need to use more often when talking about change.

Debris Trail, that rings so true. Bloody damn nearly everyone I know is like that. Always believing the chosen talking heads, the lucky few paid simply to say whatever the leftist establishment tells them through their bosses in the media, whose strings, in turn, are most likely pulled by the PMO, PCO or whatever. (It's not like they'll admit it, but we can see the tracks in the dirt and the fingerprints on the gun barrel). Hell, sometimes there'll be a voice on a tape...

Steve: I'd be happy if even outr public education system was a "mertiocracy" as it was intended to be....merit goes south when politics determine worth...such is the sad fate of our over politicized existance in the single party state...the media promoted kleptocracy.

Doug be a chicken moonbat... oh... wait a minute... scratch that... make it a chickenshit moonbat. He believes in the utopia of communism and dictatorship. He and his ilk will soon be disposed of and minimized back into the sewer from hence he came.

He's been posting that on every blog, as if it's going to make a difference... what a loser.
