CTV wins ratings war with US based programs
Eat yer heart out CBC pinkos, CTV has dogged out your pathetic ratings again....and mostly with American content or plagiarized American entertaiment trends. So what was that about unique Canadian culture? Seems all CBC is good for these days is gorging on tax money and producing moonbat Governor Generals.

CTV was sure to beat out the CBC...they have Canadian Idol.
The CBC has never been worth a damn AND they have commercials too.
At least public television in the states does pledge drives. And comes up with pretty darn good prgramming.
All we ever get is Yvonne of the North and Sargent Preston mentality programming OR hit pieces ala Michael Moore ( been doin' that before Michael Moore even thought of doing Roger and Me OR Fahrenheit 9/11.)
I remember one in particular about Mulroney and Karl Heinz Schreiber and the so called scam over the Air Bus.. turns out the only scam was the CBC hit...(and once Mulroney got through with them and the government it was the government who settled) and we still can't get worked up over this , ever. We just keep paying.
All these years and all that money and they still cannot beat American , British or even Australian programming!
The people I pity are those in the far flung regions of this country where ALL they get is the CBC.
Course, these days even the reservations have illegal satellite, so desperate are they to get away from the CBC! :-)
Maybe they have the pale imitatir of American Idol but at keast when I do not tune it in because my better taste will not allow me to abuse my intellect by watching it, I do not PAY for it. CBC robs me to produce mind melting crap I chose not to watch. I can't chose to refuse to patrionize the CBC by simply watching better programming. Typical socialist criminality in operation.
